Marriage may be defined as a 'Sacrament' between two persons. In other words it is not a contract between two individuals but a sacrosanct relationship between two human beings placing certain obligations and duties vis-à-vis each other. It is generally seen that marriage is a union for leading a life wherein both the spouses contribute to the union. Primarily, a person chooses his / her partner based on either of the 4 reasons below:

Certain emotions are often seen as positive and others are often seen as negative, and this can cause people to embrace some and to deny others. But regardless of the label they're given, they all have a purpose. What matters is: how one responds to how they feel and not how they feel. If one is able to embrace how they feel and not react to or to deny how they feel, then they will be able to work with their emotions. This will mean that their emotions are seen as a source of information and not as problems. One is then working with themselves; as opposed to against themselves. When one is in harmony with themselves, their life is going to be easier and a lot more fulfilling.

There's a remote village in southeast Brazil about 500 km from Rio De Janeiro called Noiva do Cordeiro. It sits in a valley called Belo Vale, which literally translates as beautiful Valley and it's a place that lives up to its name. The village has groves of tangerine trees, banana plants and exotic plants covered with bright yellow flowers. But if you go to Noiva do Codeiro the landscape is not the only view to catch your eye. There are also the people who live there. To be more specific, I'm talking about the village women. But that is also Noiva do Codeiro's curse as much as it is a blessing.

Last year, when I was writing my book , a miracle happened. My friend - a man who had always meant a lot to me and who I fully trusted - told me that he had left his relationship. I had never dared to hope that this might happen. We knew each other for 13 years. He knew my secrets and what happened in my relationships. He knew that I valued honesty more than anything - and I counted on his honesty. After his separation, he started to contact me frequently. He told me many nice things like that he always felt an emotional bond between us. His words sounded real and genuine to me. One day, I decided that I had to take the risk and dare to love again. I asked him whether he wanted to visit me. And he did. I spend the most wonderful week in my life with a man. It was fluent, just like a miracle.
